Sylosis is a British metalcore band, formerly a melodic death metal band, from Reading, Berkshire formed in 2000. They have used various genres in their music over the years with their first 2 EPs and debut album. They previously based themselves on 1980s thrash metal crossed with modern styles of music like melodic death metal. With their 2024 LP, "A Sign of Things to Come," the band moved away from their previous mix of sounds in favor of a more mainstream modern metalcore style, similar to Middleton's other band, Architects.
