Are children allowed to OVO Hydro?

All children must have a valid ticket for an event, with the exception of ‘babes in arms’ (under 12 months) who may sit on a parent/guardian’s knee, unless otherwise stated by the event promoter. Please check the age restrictions for each show. We have a small number of booster seats available to borrow for events in The OVO Hydro and SEC Armadillo. These are allocated on a first come first served basis and may be fully allocated at popular family events. If a booster seat is essential to your visit, we would encourage you to bring your own to avoid disappointment.

A multi-storey car park operated by Glasgow City Council is available for OVO Hydro visitors. Onsite pay machines are on the ground floor, or level 2 (walkway level) of the car park. Drop-Off, Pick-Up Point An OVO Hydro drop-off/pick-up zone is located at the west of SEC Centre. A map to this is available on the OVO Hydro website. The drop-off/pick-up zone runs an accessible transfer service to the OVO Hydro, dropping off within 130m of The OVO Hydro south main entrance.

The venue is easily accessible for visitors with mobility difficulties and accessible needs and currently holds an Attitude is Everything Gold award for access. The first two floors of OVO Hydro are fully accessible with lifts and automated doors. Important: There is no lift to the 3rd and final floor of the venue, there are stairs along with handrail assistance to gain access to this floor. Please take this into consideration when booking tickets. People with mobility issues are recommended to book tickets on the ground, level 1 or level 2 front, as these have lifts to access. All Entry doors East, South and West into the Hydro are wide for easy access.
